Conway on a roll as track and field Districts approach

FLYING HIGH: Brady Conway set a new PR at 41-3 in the triple jump at Condon, above.

Nobody is hotter than Brady Conway who racked up nine first place finishes in 11 events at three meets last week. Along the way, the Goldendale senior set PRs in the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and triple jump. Two of the records came at an SCAC meet in Zillah, where Conway had his first sub-16-second race in the 110 hurdles with an adjusted time of 15.84 seconds. Later in the same meet, he won the 300 meter hurdles in 41.44, knocking about a half second off his previous best. He also won the triple jump at 37-8 and was second in the high jump. Conway, who jumped 5-10 in the high jump last year, has only competed in the event the one time, so far this year.
