Singles come through for Wolves against Scotties and Rangers

Goldendale rebounded on the tennis court from home losses to Zillah, with a pair of 3-2 wins over Highland on Thursday and a split with Naches Valley on Monday.

Singles victories led the way for the Wolves over the Scotties with Keith Bighorn winning 7-6, 6-4 and Ethan Hoctor also with a two set win 6-3, 7-5 for the boys. They repeated the straight set wins on Monday, helping Goldendale defeat Naches Valley 4-1.

Katharina Palme had shut out wins of 6-0, 6-0 and Lauren Ricks won 6-1, 6-0 against Highland. The girls posted the only wins against Naches Valley, as the girls team lost 3-2.

Other wins versus Highland were Kyle Wilkins and Brandon Cline 6-2, 6-4, and Krista Allen and Nellie Bild...
