Holiday Tractor Pull competition draws tractors and spectators

The Hanging Rock Tractor Pull course couldn’t stop Glen Carrigan from making a pair of full pulls on both Saturday and Sunday events this weekend at the Goldendale Guys and Gals Tractor Club’s annual event. Carrigan won the 4,500 and 5,000 pound divisions on both days running the limit of the 300-foot course with his 1937 John Deere tractor.

There were four more full pulls on day one with Joe Scott going the distance on his 1947 Farmall M and Terry Schmid and Connor Campbell sharing the honors in the 6000 pound division on a 1954 Oliver. In the miscellaneous class, Danny Weese drove his 1935 Caterpillar the distance and Jim Leahy had a full pull on his 1957 John Deere 720.
