BACK INTO FOOTBALL CONDITION: Head coach Don Strother, left and assistant Brock Warrener, right, oversee neck exercizes during spring football practice.

Goldendale will send nearly 30 players to football camp at Central Washington University next week, according to head coach Don Strother. Football camps have become a staple of the program, as it is at most schools. In the past, the team attended the camp at Whitworth College.

Two activities held during the past week will help fund the trip. Players and coaches held their junior camp last week for future Timberwolves and football joined hands with the Goldendale Wrestling Club to host a golf tournament.

“The support of the businesses and the supporters who came out was appreciated,” said Strother.
