Mobile food bank at work

Meat was on the menu last Tuesday for many families as a mobile food bank came to the Goldendale High School parking lot. Families usually unable to get enough protein got some courtesy of the Cattlemen’s and Cattlewomen’s Associations of Klickitat County, which donated the beef roast. Other agencies involved were Second Harvest and the local food bank. According to Second Harvest, one in six Americans do not have access to sufficient food.
