Bob Biber



Robert (Bob) William Biber of Glenwood, was born February 3, 1948 and passed away on June 25, 2012.

Bob graduated from Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma, Wash. After graduating high school, he joined the US Navy. During that time he served in the Vietnam War. After finishing his service in the Navy, he went on to become a police officer with the city of Tacoma. After 14 years of service with the Tacoma PD, he retired and moved to Goldendale. It was there where he worked as a 911 dispatcher for Klickitat County.

His favorite pastimes included spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Idell Biber of Tacoma; his wife, Cathy Biber of Glenwood; his daughter Jennifer Siegrist (husband Andy and daughter Aynsley) of Lake Tapps, Wash., daughter Sarah Hominda (husband, Ryan and children, RJ and Rylee) of Yelm; step-daughter, Denise Russum (Lance and Simone) of Blaine, Wash., step-daughter, Sara Russum (husband, Adam and children, Andrew and Allison) of Glenwood; and step-son, Dean Russum (wife Jessica and children Madison and Devin) of Vancouver; his sister Maria and family of Tacoma, and sister Becky and family of Spokane.

Graveside services will be held at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood, on July 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Glenwood EMS or Celilo Cancer Center in The Dalles, OR.
