Patricia Helen Lindsay



Patricia Helen Lindsay, age 85 years, one month died July 4, 2012 from complications of diabetes.

She was born June 4, 1927 in Vancouver, Washington to Louis Robert and Eurah Isabelle (Van Hoy) Sly. She was a member of Daughters of the Pioneers and the Clark County Quilters Club and spent many years quilting for family, friends and charity. She was a Judge for the Clark County Fair, and a Campfire Girls Leader for many years.

She is survived by three children, Roy (Kathleen) Lindsay Jr. of Madison, South Dakota, Pamela (Duane) Poelvoorde of Vancouver, Wash., and Kelly (Dee) Skillings of Battle Ground, Wash .; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lindsay Sr., her parents, a sister Jeraldine Courtney, brothers Robert and William Sly, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are with the Layne Funeral Chapel in Battle Ground, Washington. Family will be present Monday July 9 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Laynes Funeral Chapel.
