Old time Trout Lake fair Aug.3-5

HANDS ON: A big draw at the Fair are the hands on activities, including a rock climbing wall (right from 2011) and zip line.

Step back in time and enjoy family style entertainment at the Trout Lake Fair, Aug. 3 through Aug. 5. The fair has a distinct feel of the old time fair.

Things kick off with a community pot luck supper at Elk Meadows RV park on Friday, Aug. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

A fireman’s breakfast is on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 a.m. at the Trout Lake School followed by a 7 a.m. 5/10K run. A parade takes participants to the fairgrounds at Jonah Ministries at 11 a.m.

Exhibits, family games, a timber carnival, auction, live music and food are nestled together on the Jonah Ministries grounds all day, Saturday. Join the stargazers at the school at 9 p.m..
