Truck Rollover

A truck rests on its side Friday on Highway 97 after rolling over. The driver was not hurt. According to one witness, the truck began weaving in the northbound lane, then the trailer caught the guard rail, crushing it and causing the truck to end up in the southbound lane. The driver was identified as Frank Parriott, 48, from Prosser; the trucking company was Hickenbottem and Sons of Sunnyside. According to a Rescue 7 source, the driver took a corner too fast and overcorrected. The truck was carrying a load of empty pallets.
