Great day for what may be final Soroptimist cycling event

A favorable wind made for a great day of cycling for the Goldendale Soroptimists’ final Golden Valley Bike Pedal. About two dozen riders from as far off as Seattle took part in Saturday’s event, following scenic rides of up to 100 miles round trip from Goldendale to Glenwood.

This is very likely the last time the event will be held, according to event coordinator Naomi Fisher. One of their main sponsors will not be able to support the event in the future, so unless the void is filled, there will be no ride next year.
