Big day for Denney and defense gives T-Wolves 39-14 win over Scotties

LINE DOMINANCE: Goldendale’s line opened up a hole for Tim Bartkowski. Goldendale rushed for 221 yards and 5.8 yards per carry against Highland.

Quarterback Lucas Denney accounted for three touchdowns and the Timberwolf defense held Highland to just 34 yards of second half offense for a 39-14 Goldendale victory, Friday night. It was just the kind of game the short-handed Goldendale team needed to open league play following a tough loss to Cashmere the previous week.

Goldendale had reason to believe they could move the ball against the winless Scotties, but they had some reservations on defense with five defensive backs out with injuries. Highland was well suited to attack that backfield with a big, strong throwing quarterback, Parker Stohr.

Good Win! Isn't It Good to get that 47 Point Loss Out of Your Mouth! But still get Rid of the Green Shoes. I believe our Colors are Purple and Gold. Black Shoes are the Color of Real Tuff Football Players who Aways Win!!!!
