Forest Health workshops offered for Klickitat County


Forest health concerns exist throughout eastern Washington, many of them severe. The Commissioner of Public Lands has declared a Forest Health Hazard Warning for portions of Klickitat, Yakima, Okanogan, and Ferry counties. Washington State University Extension and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources are sponsoring several workshops in the warning areas to help private landowners understand what a Forest Health Hazard Warning means for them and their land.
