Church work day focuses on Wishram projects

In its annual worldwide day of service project, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) went to Wishram Sept. 15 to complete a variety of challenging tasks.

A large group of outside and local volunteers spent parts of three days completing a long list of tasks in the town. Mike Canon of the Goldendale LDS Church says the church had its public affairs committee look at proposals for work within Wishram.
