Wolves overcome miscues in easy win over Coyotes

It may not have been pretty, but the 21-0 win over Columbia-Burbank was important for Goldendale with key league games on the horizon. The win was no fluke and in spite of the many penalties and flubbed punts, the outcome was never in doubt as Goldendale dominated every other aspect of the game.

Lucas Denney had a hand in all three Timberwolf touchdowns, two on passes to Devan McGraw and one on a 37-yard touchdown run. Denney ran for a game high 123 yards and threw for 191. The only turnover came on a pass that bounced off a receiver and was picked by Burbank inside the Coyotes’ 10 yard line.

McGraw used his speed to separate from defenders giving Denney an open target on the touchdown...
