O line makes statement while creating huge holes in Lightning defense in 33-20 victory

Goldendale lit up the score board in the second quarter with three touchdowns on the way to a 33-20 win over La Salle. After swapping touchdowns with the Lightning on the first two drives, Goldendale showed their dominance and assured the Homecoming crowd that a festive week would be punctuated with a win.

The offensive line set the tone for the game during the first drive with back-to-back 18 yard runs by quarterback Lucas Denney and I-back Kyle Wilkins, each making first contact with defenders well beyond the line of scrimmage. Denney would take off on a 22-yard run, supplemented by a short face-mask penalty before Isaac Messenger punched it in on a 2-yard touchdown run.
