Work toward a common goal



There once was a family from Goldendale that wanted to go to Seattle for a visit. The son wanted to take SR14 along the beautiful Columbia River Gorge where they could see all the people wind surfing and kite boarding. “It’s the best way to go to Seattle,” he said.

His sister said that the best way to go was up SR97 to the North Cascades. “We haven’t been that way before and people say it is incredibly beautiful. It is the route we need to take,” she said.

Mom preferred to take SR410 west out of Naches. “The highway takes you along the north side of Mt. Rainier. It is a beautiful and peaceful drive. We need to go that way,” said Mom.
