Letter to the Editor


To the Editor:

I came in with a letter concerning a hit-and-run that happened on Grant and W. Collins. It involved a woman in a truck that hit a 12-year-old boy on his bicycle. You said you would look into it. In fact you called me for some additional information and indicated that my letter would be printed. It wasn’t.

I’m disappointed. In you for not keeping your word. In the newspaper because it was the town’s only means of communication, and it is nearly worthless if it favors one of the town’s “special” folks.

Why don’t we have more letters from the community? Many people used to write in to voice their opinions. Some I agreed with, others I didn’t, but it was good to...
