Local non-profit awarded Sterling Bank grant

KINDNESS RECEIVES KINDNESS: A Brush with Kindness program was the recipient of a Sterling Bank award for their work with low income home owners. Barbara Cosner, area manager of Sterling Bank, presented a check for $1500 to the Board of Directors of A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) Nov. 15 at the Goldendale United Methodist Church.

“We are thrilled,” said Pat Brim-Williams, co-chair of BWK, “This check allows us to do more in the community.”

ABWK applied for this money through the Community Revitalization Assistance (CRA) grants which are made available to non-profit organizations in communities where Sterling Bank has offices and its employees are located.
