Special fishing event Nov. 23 on Rowland Lake

Are you looking for an option to the stress of the Black Friday shopping spree? The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has stocked two-thousand rainbow trout in Rowland Lake for the public’s fishing pleasure on Nov. 23. The average size of the planted trout is 1.25 pounds, according to WDFW fish biologist, John Weinheimer.

Rowland Lake is about three miles east of Bingen off SR14. License and Discovery Pass are required.
