Jordan Dove 7th in roping at Indian National Rodeo

ANOTHER ONE ROPED: Jordan Dove ropes a calf at the Indian National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

Jordan Dove was on target at the Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR) in Las Vegas last week, roping four calves for a seventh place finish.

The INFR was just the latest in a busy year for the Doves who, in addition to having entries in local rodeos, also travelled to New Mexico and Wyoming.

There were 32 ropers from the United States and Canada qualified for the INFR roping event. A 10 second penalty for a broken barrier was the difference between Jordan finishing seventh versus second.

Also competing at the INFR was Cheyenne Dove who competed in Jr. breakaway roping. She also competed at the high school finals rodeo in Gallup, NM, where she competed in goat roping and pole bending.
