Burglars hit Goldendale again


After a brief lull, burglaries picked up again in Goldendale over the past two weeks, according to police reports. The first was a burglary of coins from the Landromat on Columbus Ave. Security cameras revealed a man breaking into the coin machine and stealing quarters while an apparent accomplice stood watch.

On Nov. 19, police arrested Louie White, 29 and charged him with vehicle prowl and criminal trespass in regards to an incident on the 400 block of West Darland. White was seen reaching into a car parked and left running at a residence. White left when confronted by the owner, saying he just stopped by to say “Hi.” The owner of the car did not know White.
