Candy Cane Lane festivities starting soon

READY FOR VIEWING: The window of the General Store has its Santa decorations ready for this year’s Candy Cane Lane contest.

Two days before Thanksgiving, the Brighter Goldendale Christmas Committee met at Ayulta’s Mexican Restaurant to discuss the 22nd Annual Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade and festivities.

Between bites of nachos, enchiladas, and chips and salsa, the ladies of the committee talked excitedly about the upcoming parade, decorating contests, tree lighting on the Courthouse lawn, and reception at the Masonic Lodge.
