Wolves edge Warriors, fall to Scotties

In a game where Lucas Denney got off only five shots, Goldendale defeated Cle Elum-Roslyn 44-42 before a home crowd. Denney still managed to be high scorer as he was fouled on four other opportunities and made eight of his team high 12 points from the foul line.

The Wolves kept a small edge over the Warriors for most of the game, getting ahead by seven at the end of three quarters. The Warriors went into a press for the final 5:45 of the game and got the Wolves to cough the ball up five times as they closed in.

Briley Cameron was fouled with 1:04 left in the game and the Wolves up 42-39. Cameron made both shots for the winning points for Goldendale. Kenner Milliren scored nine points and...
