GMS competes in Oregon robotics competition

The Hard CORE Athletibots from Goldendale Middle School (GMS) competed at the Oregon State First Lego League finals on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Liberty High School in Hillsboro. Overall, there were 117 teams at the two day tournament.

GMS went head to head with 59 other teams during the Saturday portion of the competition. Throughout Oregon, 458 teams competed in regional competitions in order to get to the state competition.

First Lego League competition entails not only robot design and performance, but creating and delivering a project that features a community based solution to a real world problem.
