Community network works to reduce ACEs


Four ACEs may be good in poker, but in a young person’s life they can reduce their chances of becoming a healthy, successful adult.

ACEs are Adverse Childhood Experiences. A growing body of evidence is linking the toxic stress brought on by traumatic episodes in childhood to increased risks of adult heart disease, stroke, diabetes, depression, obesity and other chronic and costly illnesses.
