City sets aside 17 acres, 220 booths, to host seasonal flea market


Attention bargain hunters: the city of Goldendale has a deal for you.

Just show up July 19, 20, and 21 in town, and Goldendale will have a shopping mecca in the form of its first annual Flea Market.

The Goldendale Flea Market will sprawl across 17 acres of land on Columbus Avenue bounded by Simcoe Drive on the south and Schuster on the east. It will have space for 220 vendors in 50- by 30-foot lots.
