County 4-H members attend KYG conference

Four Klickitat County 4-Hers attended the Know Your Government Conference (KYG) that was held in Olympia, Feb. 16-19. The Conference is a four-day event that is part of the 4-H leadership program. There are three parts to the conference: a mock trial, a tour of the capitol building, and an opportunity to meet with the legislators and senators.

The participants qualified to attend KYG though their involvement in county mock trials. Stephen and Rachel Sharp, Scott Harrington, Chad Pyle, and Faith and Alyssa Simmons were involved in the mock trial in Goldendale. Stephen, Rachel, Faith and Alyssa went on to participate in the State conference.
