Lady Cougars take two from White Swan on the road


Lyle-Wishram got into the win column with a double-header sweep of White Swan, 16-6 and 8-3, last week, at White Swan.

The Lady Cougars scored in all but one inning in a wild opening game filled with 13 errors and 13 hits. Three runs in the top of the fifth inning sealed the deal for Lyle-Wishram and they tacked on six more runs for good measure over the final two innings. Nicki Anderson drove in four runs on a 2-2 day for the Cougars and Dieryon Lacock went the distance on the mound for her first win of the season, striking out four batters.
