Tyndall wins figure 8 at Moses Lake

Amelia Tyndall had a good start to her first equestrian meet of the year at Moses Lake on March 15-17, by winning the figure 8. Tyndall also had solid runs in the working rancher, placing fifth and steer daubing where she was sixth. Tyndall was 16th in barrels.

This year’s Goldendale equestrian team consists of four girls. In addition to Tyndall they include Makiah Steen, Heather McElravy and Elizabeth Matula. As a team the girls placed second in the four-man drill. They were fifth in team flags and seventh in in-hand obstacle relay.

Steen was second in working rancher, fifth in reining, 11th in trail, 18th in barrels and 29th in figure 8. Matula placed fourth in individual flags, ninth...
