Council considers Farmers' Market request


While the agenda appeared light for the Goldendale City Council’s April 1 meeting, discussion was brisk and productive as council members took in Farmers’ Market information and considered other aspects of its new charge to disseminate tourism funding formerly allocated to the Greater Goldendale Chamber of Commerce for tourism purposes. In Mayor Clinton Baze’ absence, Council Member Gary Hoctor presided over the meeting as Mayor Pro Tem.

Goldendale Farmers’ Market Manager Judy Shinn provided the council with highlights of the market’s progress for the past two years and summarized the local market’s plans for the upcoming year.
