Warning: they're putting warning labels on books



Congratulations to our intern from Goldendale High School, Dallas Smith, on her excellent article on the Goldendale Library’s upcoming book exchange (see page 1). Dallas did a great job of researching the broader background of the story, as well as writing it.

Dallas’ research explored the phenomenon of young adult fiction, currently one of the hottest new trends in publishing. Not to be confused with children’s books, young adult fiction appeals not just to teens but also to a lot of adults who miss the gentler, more engaging fiction of their own youth.
