50 Years Ago – April 18, 1963

• Stanley Lamb, the Goldendale garbage franchise holder, was designated a city dump attendant to allow him to help enforce control at the city dump. It was also pointed out at the meeting that Lamb has a garbage hauling franchise for the city and that it is illegal for a person to haul garbage for anyone except themselves.

75 Years Ago – April 14, 1938

• Robert G. Clostermann, German Counsel for Oregon, was the Goldendale Chamber of Commerce featured speaker at the member’s evening meeting.
