Most newspapers get asked to cover lots of different kinds of stories by their readers. Sometimes the suggestions are for stories about people or companies or institutions that someone sees as causing a problem. That’s understandable. And while there’s a lot of “white noise” out there—just the usual blips and burbs that go on in any given situation or organization—sometimes there really is something significant there.
