Centerville School receives award


Mike Lindhe, Centerville School Superintendent, was notified April 2, that Centerville School is a 2012 recipient of the distinguished Washington Achievement Award in Science.

The Washington Achievement Awards celebrate the state’s top-performing schools in multiple categories. This award targets the top five percent of all elementary, middle and high schools across the state based on two-year averages.

According to the state announcement materials, “Award-winning schools have at least one common attribute: the power to profoundly affect student learning.”

Lindhe wants the credit and recognition to be directed towards an incredibly hard-working and professional staff of teachers...
