Police union members ask City Council to avoid costly arbitration

City follows advice for new signage to be posted beneath city bridge: ‘No camping after dark’


The Goldendale City Council’s June 3 meeting began early with a 6:30 p.m. closed Executive Session for the purposes of “potential litigation,” according to the notice posted outside council chambers. While the public waited outside in the warm June evening for the session to conclude and re-open for the regular meeting, a large contingent of uniformed Goldendale police department members also gathered.
