Holcomb's Sentry undergoes name change, sweeping remodel

NEW DELI: Bruce Holcomb stands in front of the newly remodeled deli in his market.

Holcomb’s Sentry, which has been in business since 1977, is receiving a remodel after an executive decision from the owner, Bruce Holcomb. Some may have noticed that the store has been missing the front sign on the building, which is going to be changed to Goldendale Holcomb’s Market.

“It was just time for a facelift. Our décor has totally changed,” explains Holcomb. “We want to have [more] things for our customers.”

In addition to the name change and the overall décor being adjusted, the store will be adding new foods in the frozen foods department and beverage section. It’s adding much more to accommodate the community. A large focus will be the ability to provide full-c...
