Butch was one of Goldendale's Finest Atheletes! He was one of the many great atheletes Goldendale had during the 1960s when Goldendale won many League Titles. I was fortunate enough to be able to play along side of Butch. However, his greatest attribute was his Cool demeanor and genuine kindness to all. I think back to my time with Butch and it brings back a smile. He truly was one of the Good Guys. I am glad to see he enjoyed fishing and lived in a great fishing area. I'll bet he was a great father and a friend to many. His many friends from those days long ago, remember him as one great friend. I send my sincere condolences to his family. Jerry Lundberg
