Sunday was payday at the Alder Creek Rodeo

Eight of the 13 event winners came from Sunday performances at the Alder Creek Pioneer Picnic and Rodeo held last weekend at Cleveland Park. A total purse of $22,409.60 was paid out to competitors in the NPRA rodeo. In the local events, the team of Craig Osborne, Craig Osborne Jr. and Bob Harvey won the merchant cow milking. It was the sixth win for Craig Sr., second for Craig Jr. and first for Harvey. Senior barrels were won by Chantelle Carter, of Hood River.
