Monroe cowboy wins All Around, Lois Dechand awarded Ladiges buckle at Ketchum Kalf Rodeo

Jake Howell, a cowboy from Monroe won the Tye Murray All Around Jacket at the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo last weekend. Howell also won the steer wrestling with a time of 4.6 seconds, just ahead of Sam Shelton who turned his steer in 4.7 seconds. This year’s winner of the Shawna Roberson Buckle for junior barrels was Vicky Valdez. Chantelle Carter was second and Kassie Kayser placed third.

The Ketchum Kalf Rodeo Association also honored Lois Dechand with the Hank Ladiges Memorial Buckle for her work through the years on behalf of the Association.
