New Hope Farms keeps hope alive for residents

New Hope Farms welcomed the community to their annual Open House on Saturday, June 22. Hawaiian leis adorned the necks of almost all who attended the event, where smiles, songs, and positive energy seemed to be the main order of the day.

After an opening prayer and flag salute, guests were treated to live music performed by residents of the New Hope community, a poetry reading, and some talk from administrators about the goals and needs of the facility, which is currently home to 21 developmentally challenged adults.
