Ogden trip provides for hundreds of patients


Dr. James Ogden and others traveled to Cambodia and worked to aid Cambodians by giving them eye exams then providing them with glasses if they were in need of corrective lenses. In the five days that they worked in the clinic, 572 patients were seen. Ogden, aided by Kosal Sipiv, examined various Cambodians and worked together to make sure everyone received what they needed. Ogden first met Sipiv in 2007 on their first trip to Cambodia, and he is now in his seventh year of medical school. Ogden and his wife have been sponsoring his tuition, which is about $1,500 dollars in Phnom Penh, but for Sipiv it is an impossible amount of money, since there aren’t any student loans or scholarships....
