Another new business opens in Goldendale

Hear's Goldendale

It’s huckleberry picking time! If you don’t pick the berries yourself, now is a great time to order a huckleberry dessert from your favorite restaurant.

Speaking of businesses, we have yet another new business in the Goldendale area. The old Roadhouse 97 bar and cafe, north of Goldendale on US 97 is now a new restaurant, called the Golden Cafe and Saloon, serving three meals a day, with breakfast being served all day. They are open five days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. but closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. So go check them out and say hello and welcome.

Don’t forget to fill out the PUD customer survey before Sept. 13. You can find it online at http://www.klickitatpud.com. You will then be entered to win a $100 credit towards your KPUD bill. Your feedback will help the PUD ensure they are providing the best possible service to their customers.
