City council hears of housing issues, upholds RV inhabitation ruling


Monday night’s City Council meeting covered a wide array of matters, from gun control advocacy to the finer legalities of various living conditions within city limits.

The meeting opened with the reports from department heads. Police Chief Rick Johnson opened with a brief recap of police action in the Ferch burglary case, saying that though the stolen guns were recovered, the department is still looking to recover some of the cash and jewelry that remains missing. He also stated that shift bidding within the force begins soon and that some officers may find themselves suiting up for duty during a different time of day so that “everyone gets a chance to experience everything.” New s...
