Lady Wolves look to dig out of a hole during second half run in league matches


Before the season started, Goldendale volleyball coach, Jodi Bellamy said her team needed to work on passing accuracy and putting up good serves. It became painfully obvious that work still needs to be done in those areas as Goldendale dropped three matches in a row to their chief competitors in the SCAC west, each by 3-1 scores. In a 3-1 loss at Zillah, passing was the issue, particularly off serve with nearly 47 percent of the passes errant. Serve-receive was equally problematic at La Salle, but serving was also under par against the Lightning, as it was against Naches Valley, last Thursday.
