Trunk or treat, costume contest, at Halloween Festival Thursday

The day little (and big) kids look forward to is here; and the Glenwood Community has organized a Halloween Festival on Main Street this Oct. 31. Beginning at 5 p.m. a costume contest will be held at the Glenwood Inn; trunk or treat cars will be set up along Main Street and readied for judging; students will man booths in Hoodenpyl’s Park; and trick or treaters will be treated at the post office. The Glenwood General Store will hold their fourth annual carved pumpkin contest; and ask that pre-carved pumpkins be dropped off at the store before 5:30 p.m. for judging.
