Lyle Joseph Fink, 91, passed away in Hood River, Oregon on October 26, 2013.

He was born in Ackley, Minnesota on February 11, 1922. With his parents Julia Loretta (Staffenhagen) and James Milo Fink and his sister, five year-old Lyle traveled by train from Minnesota to Klickitat, where he lived most of his life. Lyle loved visiting with friends and family and enjoyed managing his real estate and rentals. He also enjoyed family camping trips at Cultus Creek on Mt. Adams. Mr. Fink was an active band booster. He proudly served as a Democratic precinct committeeman for many years. For the last 9 ½ years of his life, he resided in the memory unit of Hood River Care Center where he was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff.
