The Sentinel’s 2014 calendar is—far and away, bar none, and without qualification or compromise—the most thoroughly considered and beautifully produced one of its kind that I ever have seen.

It is a genuine work of art; and—uncharacteristically within the traditions surrounding such publications—truly inspirational. In fact, I should have to say that the art you have so diligently selected and so exquisitely produced presents the prospective year as one inviting to live through, rather than as if the impending months might merely have provided an occasion for publishing photography.
