Annual Cabin Fever Festival offers something for everyone

Although the valley lacks snow, it has been reported that last weekend brought snow up at some of the Sno-Parks in the Gifford Pinchot including six inches at Snow King. Sno-Park permits may be purchased at the Mount Adams Ranger District or the Trout Lake Grocery.

That snow is good news because as mentioned in last week’s article, this year’s Cabin Fever Festival will take place Jan. 31 through Feb. 2.  With a range of activities, there is something for everyone.  Friday night kicks off the festival with “Himalayan Dreams: The Quest for Kumari” at the Trout Lake Grange, 7 p.m., with Hood River photographer Peter Marbach.
