Cougars on a roll in Gorge League play

Lyle-Wishram's Cougars will be riding a three game, league winning streak into this weekend's games against their chief opponents in the Greater Columbia Gorge League, Yakama Nation and Sunnyside Christian. Both Cougar teams sport undefeated records going into the games that could decide the top team at the half-way mark.

The Lady Cougars started strong against Klickitat and Bickleton, winning by scores of 61-17 and 62-9, respectively. The week started with the game at Klickitat where the Cougars hit 11 three-point shots on a hot shooting night. Lacy Carse and MaeLynn Luke each hit four three-pointers and shared the team lead with 12 points each. Luke also had 11 rebounds for...
