Lady Pirates fend off fourth quarter rally by Vandals

For awhile, it looked like Bickleton's girls might have solved their shooting woes as they started quickly against Klickitat and held on for a 49-47 win. But, a home court 55-27 loss to Trout Lake in Bickleton left coach Emily Barnhart still frustrated by the poor team shooting percentage.

The week started with a tough beating at the hands of the Sunnyside Christian Knights. It was looking like the Pirates were never going to score as the Knights pressed through much of the first quarter. Once the defense backed off, the Pirates were able to get into their offense, but the first quarter ended 26-2 with a break-away bucket by Kira Harvey the only Bickleton score. The Lady Pirates gave a go...
